Krystyna Jamroz International Music Festival

Details of attractions
This most prestigious event of Busk- Zdrój is organised annually at the beginning of July. During this time, the regional stages are graced with the presence of a selection of artists who are recognised both nationally and internationally. The concerts are usually interspersed with meetings with well-known people of culture and art. Krystyna Jamroz (1923 - 1986) - a native of Bieszczady - was an extraordinarily talented opera singer who made a name for herself on the Polish and foreign stages as a dramatic soprano with a rich sound material. She made her debut in 1946 on the stage of the Wrocław Opera. Later she was a full-time star of the Poznań Opera and the Grand Theatre in Warsaw. In the 1970s, it was time to conquer the United States. In the course of her thirty-year career, she sat on the jury of the International Vocal Competition more than once.
