Area Attractions
In the southern part of Busko-Zdrój, in the new spa park, one of the largest and most modern brine graduation towers in Poland has been built. Stunning in its design, the structure is in the shape of a circle with a diameter of about 72 m and a circumference of about 226 m, and the walls are nearly 10 m high. The graduation tower consists of two rings of blackthorn, which are separated by labyrinth-like passages. These lead into a courtyard, at the heart of which is a mist fountain. It serves an additional function as its size allows for cultural events and activities. At the top of the graduation tower, there is an observation deck from which a beautiful panorama of the spa can be enjoyed. Right next to the above-described building, there is a spa house with a pump room and a year-round mini-tube. In addition, there is an orangery, which tempts not only with its vegetation, but also with its exotic atmosphere. Outside, there is a multimedia fountain and a modern children's playground in the shape of a ship. The entire complex is set amidst park-like greenery, which encourages long walks, and the picturesquely arranged grounds create a unique atmosphere of tranquillity and peace.

Secondly, the area is really... a nice, charming area surrounded by forest, proximity to cycle paths, an ideal place also for rollerblading or walking. The countryside is known for the custom of painting cottages. The custom of decorating the village huts with floral paintings dates back to the end of the 19th century, when the villagers began to decorate the interiors of their cottages with flowers made from tissue paper, cut-outs and straw spiders hanging from the ceiling and flowers painted on the walls. Paintings were also done on the outside walls of buildings, wells and fences. There are currently around twenty painted houses in Zalipie.

The history of the Palace in Kurozwęki dates back to the 14th century. The wooden and brick castle was built by Dobiesław from Kurozwęki and became the seat of the Kurozwęcki family. In the beginning it was a defensive building, moreover, it was one of the first brick knightly castles in Poland. The castle was rebuilt many times until it achieved the appearance of a palace. Available attractions: One of them is the buffalo safari. This is a cart ride into an enclosure with bison. The bison were imported in December 2000 by Jan Marcin Popiel for breeding and agritourism purposes. 20 heifers and 2 bulls were imported from the largest breeding farm in Europe "Bisond'Ardenne" in Belgium. Bison brought to Kurozwêki soon became a symbol of the village, now often called the Land of Bison. Every spring, you can see new, tiny bison in the meadow behind the Kurozwêki palace. Another attraction is the beech labyrinth. The labyrinth is made of beech trees, was planted in 2005 and has an area of about 30 a, the total length of all paths is about 500 m, currently it is more than 2 m high. The labyrinth is mainly prepared for children, but adults can also have fun in it. Hidden inside the labyrinth are characters related to the history of the Palace and the families who inhabited it. From the end of July to October, the palace also makes a large maze in the corn available for visitors. The first labyrinth, created in 2007 in connection with EURO 2012, had a surface area of 1.3 ha and the current labyrinth covers an area of 4.5 ha. Walking through the labyrinth, you can test your orientation in the area as well as your knowledge. Mobile phones do not work in the labyrinth area, which makes the adrenaline rush greater. Every year we organise competitions, placing points on the paths of the labyrinth with questions to be found. Each participant has to find the hidden questions and complete a special crossword puzzle. Correctly completed coupons take part in a prize draw. In 2016, the current owner of the Palace Complex - Michał Popiel, together with his wife Aurora and his brother Andrzej, decided to return to the tradition of beer production in Kurozwęki. After long efforts, the Popiel Brewery was opened on 8 December 2018. To date, it is the only independently producing beer brewery in the Świętokrzyskie region.

The royal castle in Szydlowo, is located on the slope of a hill descending towards the valley of the Tzinec River. It is located within the fortifications of the former town. Since 1961 it has housed the Regional Museum in Szydłów. It had the character of an extensive royal residence, although it was used only temporarily. This is evidenced by the large courtyard and the royal palace in the southern part. The ruins of the royal palace from around 1400, as well as the so-called Treasury from the 15th and 16th centuries and the Baroque gate building with the remains of the walls separating the castle from the town, have been preserved to this day. From the west, the castle's courtyard is enclosed by perimeter walls, which are part of the city's fortifications.
