Details of attractions
This is the largest and most prestigious piano festival in the Świętokrzyskie region. The creator and long-time organiser of the festival was the renowned Polish pianist Barbara Hesse-Bukowska, who died on 9 December 2013. The individual concerts were conducted by her son, Maciej Piotrowski, also a pianist and professor, lecturer at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Since 1994, the beautiful polonaises, mazurkas, ballades, sonatas and other piano works not only by Fryderyk Chopin, but also by other renowned composers, have resounded in the charming historic Concert Hall of the Marconi Sanatorium in Busko-Zdrój.
